We do three things. We review paddles you can actually buy in Hong Kong (or import without too much pain). We map every pickleball court in the city, public and private, indoor and outdoor, with honest notes on who they're good for. And we publish beginner guides for the people getting into pickleball every month.
Our methodology
Every paddle sits at one of two stages. An Overview is factual coverage only: specs, price, and where to buy it in Hong Kong. No verdict, no rating, and it never appears in our rankings or quiz results. A Reviewed paddle has cleared our evidence bar and carries a verdict, weighing independent lab measurements where they exist, owner reports from the wider pickleball community, and how the paddle holds up in Hong Kong conditions. When the evidence is still thin we say so in the review and keep the paddle out of the shortlist, rather than ranking it anyway.
Court reviews carry a last verified date. Booking systems, opening hours, and equipment policies change in HK every few months, when ours go stale, that date will tell you.
How we make money
Some links on the site are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We never let an affiliate relationship change a review. Top picks are top picks because we'd send a friend there. Read the full affiliate disclosure.
