How it plays
Spartus calls it a power paddle, but the more useful description is soft power. The Spitfire supplies easy depth, strong serve pace and enough pop to finish, while the foam core gives drops and resets more dwell than the marketing suggests. It does not have the violent rebound of the hardest premium paddles, which makes it more usable for improving intermediates.
Independent measurements are unusually strong for the price. Reviewer averages land around 2,390 RPM spin, 115.6 swing weight, 6.2 twist weight and 7.8 oz. The swing is manageable for an elongated paddle, though the balance can feel slightly head-heavy and the modest twist weight does not hide edge contact.
