What it is

The V-Sol Tour is Vatic Pro's durable-grit follow-up to the V-Sol Pro. All four shapes use a floating EPP foam core, an EVA perimeter ring and the new EverGrit surface. It launched on September 1, 2026 at US$109.99 with a cover.

How it plays

This is the livelier V-Sol. It keeps the dense, connected foam feel but supplies more pace on drives, serves and counters. The extra rebound demands firmer hands on blocks and resets, especially during the first few sessions. Once dialled in, it sits in a useful middle ground: enough control for an improving all-court player, with considerably more attacking help than the softer V-Sol Pro.

Spin is the headline. Independent testing recorded 2,131 RPM on the elongated and 2,278 RPM on the Bloom. Durability is now the caveat. Pickleball Effect's elongated sample retained 94% of measured roughness, and one owner-test sample still produced useful spin after roughly 35–40 hours. But Pickleball Studio reported about a 600 RPM loss after one hour of drilling, while a second John Kew sample reportedly tested around Tier 3 rather than the Tier 1 result seen earlier. The fairest reading is sample-to-sample inconsistency, not a settled durable-grit win.

Which shape to choose

Flash is the default hybrid, with short- and long-handle versions. Bloom is the forgiving widebody: one measured sample came in at 112.1 swing weight and 7.12 twist weight, which is quick and stable. The elongated measured around 117 swing weight and 6.21 twist weight, trading some forgiveness for reach and plow-through.

Bottom line

Recommended, with a durability warning. This is a current-generation second paddle for someone who wants strong initial spin, real attacking help and a price well below premium foam paddles. Heavy-spin players who care most about predictable long-term bite should wait for the production picture to settle or choose a better-established durable surface. Beginners and control-first players should stay with the V-Sol Pro or Prism Flash.
